Thanks to all who are choosing to embark on this wonderful food journey with me! Before you ask, Sweetz is a nickname I got a long time ago and it kinda stuck. Not many people call me it still, but it’s tatted on me so it’s real. Just roll with it…mmk? Since I am just starting this adventure, some of my posts will be past culinary creations, some will be new, and some will be especially for this blog. EXCITING RIGHT?! I KNOW!!
I will share some of my tips and recipes here, but before I do – two things:
- I don’t measure unless I bake. Like really. Not joking. SERIOUSLY. I can give you the seasonings and ingredients I use, but I measure like somebody’s granny down south, with a pinch of this and an eyeful of that. With that in mind, there’s no guarantee that your pinch and mine will be the same. TASTE, TASTE, TASTE!
- There will be some posts that I share that I won’t share recipes for. I can bet you’re thinking, “Say what?!” While I’m happy to share a lot of the things I do make, some of my recipes are top secret because…you know…I make money off them thangs (LBVS). In which case, I may share a tip or two on those posts, but mostly, just enjoy the food porn.
I’ll let it be known that I LOVE FOOD. Cooking and baking are ways I relax and relieve stress. I believe firmly in energy exchange, so I only cook for people I like and love. If I dislike someone or I’m in a bad mood, I won’t cook for them because…energy. I pour love and lots of who I am as a person into everything I create – especially food. I’m slightly addicted to makeup, so you’ll probably see a beat face or five. I hope you guys will enjoy the journey here and visit often. Tell your mama! Tell your friends!
